HOW’DYOUKNOW?
Last week: “Bicycle Fence” in Loveland
The winner: Gary Kukas, Loveland
Where else but the Sweetheart City, formerly known as The Pie Cherry Capital of the United States and now known as The Sculpture City, would there be an opportunity for a squirrel to ride a bicycle on a fence? Maybe 20 or 30 of them all arranged like a circle of wagons defending the fort from invaders. It’s a bicycle retirement center of sorts situated happily at rest on Fourth Street in Loveland, just northeast of the Chilson Recreation Center. Seeing them every other day on my trips from the pool just can’t help but make me smile!
Second place (and winner of a bag of dog treats): Scooter Jones of Loveland
I know this spot really well since I walk by there almost every morning. I can’t say I find these bikes that interesting. I get much more excited when they are moving.
