Two women out for an early morning walk today were shaken when a man sprang out from behind bushes and announced “I’m naked,” according to an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office report.
The women fled and the nude man chased one, according to the report.
A sheriff’s deputy used a dog to track the suspect to a yard on the 900 block of East Easter Place where he was found, still nude, and arrested.
James D. Christner, 34, of Littleton, was held on suspicion of felony indecent exposure and second degree criminal trespass, the sheriff’s office said.
Christner has been arrested four previous times for indecent exposure according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records. At least three of the arrests resulted in convictions, according to CBI records.
The sheriff’s office received a 911 on the incident at 5:14 a.m., the report said.
Police found Christner’s car parked near the intersection of South Clarkson Street and East Easter Court with men’s clothing on the front passenger seat.
Christner was arrested in 2003 for failure to register as a sex offender.
