Where: Raging River Log Ride at Ocean Park
Out and about: My daughter was going to China on business and this time took me and my grandchildren. Ocean Park is incredible, with panoramic ocean views all around. The aquarium is also spectacular, and it was a lot of fun to see the pandas. The sky car ride to the other side of the park is not to be missed, with some of the most beautiful views of Aberdeen and Repulse Bay we have ever seen. We truly enjoyed getting wet on the log ride, as Hong Kong is very hot and humid in June.
Travel tip: Instead of expensive taxis or tour buses, opt for the incredibly easy to use and inexpensive public transportation system. By using the ferries, buses or subways you can go anywhere in the area for just a couple of dollars. Don’t miss the open-top, double-decker bus that takes you from Central to the Peak Tram.
