In the latest Jerry Bruckheimer series, Dennis Hopper plays a colonel in the Pentagon. He’s playing it straight. We liked the old Dennis Hopper, back when a “procurement program” involved a wad of cash and a hookah. NBC
9 p.m. “Invasion”
After a devastating hurricane, a park ranger begins to suspect his ex-wife is an alien. We can get behind that concept but ABC has the worst timing since 2001 and Fox’s “Osama Been Talkin!” ABC
