Museo makes Spanish the language of art

6:30 P.M. | The Museo de las Américas, 861 Santa Fe Drive, begins its new adult-education series, ” Spanish Happy Hour!” The program offers an opportunity for students of Spanish language to meet fellow Spanish-speaking art enthusiasts. Admission is $8, $5 for members. Call 303-571-4401.

Artist who followed Lewis-Clark trail to discuss his work

7 P.M. | LOVELAND Artist Kenneth Holder will discuss his paintings of the Lewis and Clark Trail that are on exhibit through Oct. 23 at the Loveland Museum/Gallery, 503 N. Lincoln Ave. Holder followed the route of Lewis and Clark from 1996 to 2000 and produced about 500 works. The program is free. Call 970-962-2410.

Gaze at CU planetarium’s “Aboriginal Skies”

7:30 P.M. | BOULDER John Stocke, CU-Boulder professor of astrophysical and planetary sciences, will team with aboriginal elder Bill Yidumduma Harney and Australian storyteller and educator Paul Taylor to present “Aboriginal Skies” at 7:30 tonight and Friday in Fiske Planetarium on the CU campus.
