Depeche Mode is back after a four-year vacation. The electronic pop group plans to release the album “Play the Angel” on Oct. 18. It is the group’s first release since “Exciter” in 2001. And the band plans to tour the United States this fall. Depeche Mode plays the Magness Arena on Nov. 11. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($59-$79, Ticketmaster).

Def Leppard is coming, but Bryan Adams won’t be along for the ride. The two widely different acts teamed up for a successful tour this summer and plan more dates together this fall. But Def Leppard also has booked a tour with Cheap Trick, and that is the show that comes to Magness Arena on Nov. 1. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($49.50- $69.50, Ticketmaster).

Damian “Junior Gong” Marley plans a 24-city fall tour in support of his latest effort, “Welcome to Jamrock,” which arrived in stores last week. The Jamaica Observer wrote that the album has been called an “‘unapologetic’ description of poverty and political violence” in Jamaica. Marley visits the Gothic Theatre on Nov. 23. Tickets are on sale ($19.25-$21.25, TicketWeb).

Staind released the album “Chapter V” five weeks ago. It debuted at No.1 on The Billboard 200 chart. It has since fallen to No.26, but look for it to head back up when the band hits the road this fall. Staind performs Nov. 21 at the Fillmore Auditorium. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($33.50- $35, Ticketmaster).

Mike Jones and Twista have teamed up to co-headline a national tour. Jones broke nationally this year with the release of “Who Is Mike Jones?” It reached No.3 on The Billboard 200 and now after 21 weeks rests at No.30. Twista has been charting rap records since 1997. His latest is “The Day After.” They stop at the Fillmore Auditorium on Oct. 30. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($30-$35, Ticketmaster).
