Dr. Phil may not be so lovable after all.

According to the New York Post’s Liz Smith, Dr. Phil McGraw showed some divalike tendencies when scheduled to speak at an obesity forum hosted by California first lady Maria Shriver a week ago.

Dr. Phil wanted Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to introduce him, but a last-minute conflict prevented it. Dr. Phil then refused to speak, and when he asked for a restroom, he refused to use a public bathroom.

After Dr. Phil finally relented on both counts, Shriver told him, “My 7-year-old doesn’t act the way you do.”

Britney Spears has awarded two grants from her foundation to assist in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, MTV News reported. One grant will go to Habitat for Humanity for Operation Home Delivery, a long-term rebuilding plan for families on the Gulf Coast. The other recipient is the East Baton Rouge Parish School System in Louisiana. The school system has enrolled up to 7,000 displaced New Orleans students.

Brad Pitt fired a pregnant employee from his production company after she defended his estranged wife, Jennifer Aniston, Us Weekly reported.

Kristin Hahn told Vanity Fair magazine it would be “beyond painful” for Aniston to see Pitt and girlfriend Angelina Jolie, 30, have a baby together. A source said Pitt “screamed” at Hahn, claiming she spoke about him without his approval, a contract violation. Aniston gave Hahn permission to talk to Vanity Fair. Hahn says her departure was “amicable.”

Although she’s a convicted felon, rapper Lil’ Kim believes she’s a role model.

“Yes. I mean, I would like to think so,” said Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, in an interview with Blender magazine. “You’re not going to please everybody. I’m sure to my millions and millions of fans, more than half of them think that I am.”

Kim, 30, began a 366-day sentence Monday at a federal detention center in Philadelphia for committing perjury to a grand jury in 2001.

Tom Sizemore may turn his troubled life into a reality television

series, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The “Saving Private Ryan” actor is baring his soul and foibles for the tentatively titled “Super Sizemore.” Footage shot the past two years chronicles Sizemore’s court battles, his struggle to stay sober and his new role as father to twin boys.

A week ago, a Los Angeles judge ordered Sizemore, 44, to spend another 30 days in a live-in drug-treatment center.

Stewart lets the fur fly: It’s a bad thing

Martha Stewart, has a new gig: PETA spokeswoman.

In a video for the animal-rights group, Stewart says, “I used to wear real fur, but like many others I had a change of heart when I learned what actually happens to the animals.” PETA VP Dan Mathews told MSNBC.com he started a correspondence with Stewart when she was in prison.
