TECHNOLOGY REVIEW: Named Melissa Mahoney, assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder, one of the top 35 young innovators in technology, business and the arts in its October issue. The magazine is published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
COPPER MOUNTAIN: Announced that Gary Rodgers has been named general manager of the ski resort. Rodgers will also maintain his post as senior vice president of operations for Intrawest Colorado.
