Youth: Today

Regular season: Saturday-Oct. 23, Nov. 5-Dec. 4, Dec. 11-Jan. 22. No pintails or canvasbacks may be taken after Nov. 20.

Bag limit: Six ducks, no more than five mallards, of which no more than two can be females; one pintail; one canvasback; two redheads; one mottled duck; two wood ducks; two scaup. Also, five mergansers of which no more than one may be hooded; 15 coots.

Pacific Flyway

Youth: Today

Regular season: Saturday-Oct. 16, Nov. 2-Jan. 29. No pintails and canvasbacks may be hunted after Dec. 15.

Bag limit: Seven ducks and mergansers, of which no more than two may be female mallards, one pintail, one canvasback, two redheads, three scaup. Also: 25 coots.

GEESE

Central Flyway

Youth: Today

Early season: Saturday- Oct. 9 upper Front Range, North Park, San Luis Valley, South Park.

Bag limit: Three dark geese, possession six.

Regular season: Nov. 19-Feb. 12.

Pueblo County: Dec. 3-Feb. 12.

Bag limit: Three dark geese, 20 light geese.

Light goose season: Oct. 24-Feb. 12. Daily bag limit 20, no possession limit. Also special conservation order season Feb. 18-April 30 east of Interstate 25.

Pacific Flyway

Youth: Today

Regular season: Saturday-Oct. 7, Nov. 2-Jan. 29.

Bag limit: Three geese in aggregate.

UPLAND BIRDS

Band-tailed pigeons: Through Friday. Bag five, possession 10.

Blue grouse: Through Nov. 20. Bag 3/9.

Chukar: Through Nov. 27. Bag 4/12.

Doves: Through Oct. 30. Bag 15/30. An unlimited number of Eurasian collared doves may be possessed, provided feather identification is retained.

Greater prairie chicken: Saturday-Oct. 15 in select portion of Yuma County by permit only. Bag 2/2.

Pheasant: Nov. 12-Jan. 16 east of Interstate 25. Nov. 12-Jan. 2 west of Interstate 25. Bag 3/9.

Ptarmigan: Through Oct. 2 except in units 53, 54, 66, 67, 68, 70, 71, 74, 75, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81. Through Nov. 20 in the aforementioned units. Bag 3/6.

Quail: Nov. 12-Jan. 2 in northeast Colorado. Nov. 12-Jan. 16 in southeast Colorado. Nov. 12-Jan. 2 in western Colorado. Bag 8/24 of each species.

Rail: Through Nov. 9. Bag singly and aggregate 25/25.

Sandhill crane: Oct. 4-Nov. 30 east of Continental Divide, except North Park and San Luis Valley. Bag 3/6.

Snipe: Through Dec. 16. Bag 8/16.

Turkey: Through Oct. 2, except in special management units. Bag one either sex.

Bear: Archery through today; Rifle concurrent with deer and elk seasons.

Deer: West of Interstate 25 – Archery through today. Three regular rifle seasons Oct. 22-30, Nov. 5-11, Nov. 16-20. East of Interstate 25 – Archery Saturday-Oct. 21, Nov. 2-30, Dec. 15-31. Muzzleloading Oct. 8-16. Regular rifle Oct. 22-Nov. 1, Dec. 1-14.

Elk: Archery through today. Four regular rifle seasons Oct. 15-19, Oct. 22-30, Nov. 5-11, Nov. 16-20.

Moose: Archery through today; Regular rifle Saturday-Oct. 9.
