Getting your player ready...

Byung-Hyun Kim could be a key part of Colorado’s future, but he’ll soon be a free agent, and decisions must be made. He says he’s happy as a Rockie, and the club has said it wants him back – at the right price. That’s why Kim’s final two starts, beginning with today’s Giants game, are so important. In 20 starts this season, Kim is 5-8 with a 4.38 ERA. San Francisco offers Matt Cain (2-1, 2.00) in his sixth major-league start. When he beat the Cubs 2-1 on Sept. 9, Cain became the youngest pitcher (20 years, 343 days) in Giants history to throw a complete game.
