LET THE SPOOKING

SEASON BEGIN!

Ghost Walk with me

Eerie tours of Linwood Cemetery, Oct. 14-16 and Oct. 21-23

Tours depart promptly from the Linwood trailhead at 7, 7:45, 8:30 and 9:15 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 7, 7:45 and 8:30 p.m. on Sundays.

12th Street at Bennett Avenue, Glenwood Springs

Although adults may already be feeling Halloween candy fatigue, there are interesting ways to celebrate the spooking season without ending up with tooth rot. Ghost walks, haunted bus tours, fall festivals and masked balls. We like the creepy ghost walk through Linwood Cemetery in Glenwood Springs best of all, mostly because you get to wander through the chill mountain air, your way lit by a flickering kerosene lantern. We only mention it this early because the tour is so good that it sells out quickly. Tickets are $10 and are available at the Frontier Historical Museum and the Looking Glass bookstore in Glenwood Springs, or by calling 970-945-4448.
