A helicopter made an emergency landing in a field at Rishel Middle School this morning.
It appears that no students were outside at the time of the landing. No one was injured on the ground and the pilot did not appear to be hurt.
The chopper landed in a grassy field on the west side of the school at 451 S. Tejon Street in southwest Denver. Two fire trucks were at the scene. It did not appear that the chooper hit anything on the ground.
