Two strong seasons of snowmelt have resuscitated the Rio Grande River from its earlier drought woes, boosting the river among the ranks of the state’s best trout producers.
Mike McCormick, who operates Wolf Creek Anglers in South Fork, will tell this Rio Grande success story, along with tips on how to tap into the rich population of predominantly brown trout, at a Wednesday meeting of the Evergreen Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
