High school sports: Softball (2004 Class 3A all-state honorable mention by The Denver Post) and basketball (guard).

Grade-point average: 3.8.

Class: Senior.

My favorite subject is: Psychology, because it deals with your mind and how you look at things.

My favorite athlete is: Diana Taurasi, because she’s really good at everything.

My favorite team is: The Broncos, because they’re my home team.

What I listen to: I like all kinds.

The best things on my training table are: Pasta and meat.

Pregame ritual: I use the same hair tie and warm up the same way.

Time management tip: I have a free second hour and get homework done, I study at lunch and after school we have practice. Then I come home and do homework. I basically don’t have any free time.

Planned career: Psychiatrist, considering Colorado State, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and Colorado College.

My family: Parents Renee and Terry; brother Luke.

I would love to visit: Australia.

What I like most about high school sports: Being competitive.

What I like least about high school sports: Not enough games.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
