Getting your player ready...
Don’t let the snow in the high country keep you indoors this weekend. The rangers at Roxborough State Park in Littleton are keeping their weekly Roxborough Revealed program going through October. This Saturday’s free presentation will look at the geology of the park, illuminating the more than 1 billion-year history behind the jagged red rocks where mountains meet plains. Naturalist Roger Dowell will lead the kid-friendly presentation, which includes a short hike up to soak up the dramatic views from Fountain Valley Overlook. The show gets started at 2 p.m. at park headquarters.
