Darryl and Sara Lusk are into tying knots. The Westminster couple make a super cool widget that replicates 14 pieces of hardware that anchor knots – like a cleat, hook, loop, ring, bar, post, toggle and tent stake, to name a few. The Fourteener Knotting Tool (MSRP $15) is a teaching aid for aspiring rope-knotters. The tool comes with a length of rope, a strap to mount the tool to a book or your leg and a photo-laden book describing the twists and turns behind 17 knots. Included in the book is the patented Lusk knot, which Sara inadvertently created while playing with the tool.
