Hustler publisher Larry Flynt plans to open a chain of casual restaurants, adding to his collection of adult-themed magazines, retail stores and a casino.
Flynt is seeking a location in Las Vegas for the first of his Hustler Bar & Grille restaurants, the chain said Monday in a statement. The company next year may open four restaurants in cities such as Phoenix and San Diego, said Brad Saltzman, president of Hustler Bar & Grille Las Vegas LLC.
The chain, which won’t feature any nudity, will make all food from scratch and will offer dishes such as wood-fired pizzas, steaks and rotisserie chicken, the company said.
Waitresses will be called “Hustler Hunnies” and wear red satin shorts and red fitted tops with the Hustler Bar & Grille logo on the front, Saltzman said.
“This is Hooters meets Hard Rock Cafe meets the Cheesecake Factory,” said Saltzman, 37, a former director of food and beverage at the Hotel Jerome in Aspen.
