Don’t put the bike up yet. This weekend marks the 26th annual Halloween Bike Fest in the mountainbiking Mecca known as Moab, Utah. A bike industry expo reveals all the latest and greatest gizmos for the two-wheeled gearheads. Guided and group rides will explore Moab’s most famous and often-overlooked trails. Formerly the Moab Fat Tire Festival, the newly minted Halloween-themed bike party calls for on-site camping, costumes, live music, parties, day-and-night races and, of course, beer. The festival’s invite-only freeride competition, known as the Test of Metal, features some of the rowdiest, high-consequence bike riding ever.
