The Archdiocese of Denver has asked the federal court in Denver to take up five lawsuits originally filed in state court, saying the cases raise First Amendment and other federal issues.
The petitions for removal, recorded Friday in U.S. District Court in Denver, involve cases in which plaintiffs say they were molested by former priest Harold White.
The cases were originally filed in Denver District Court by Tom Koldeway, Brandon Trask, Robert Kinney Jr., Gerald Wolf and John Doe I, a pseudonym.
