If you truly believe in the purest forms of love and romance, they could come true.
This is a perfect time to be optimistic as well as a total romantic sap. This sappiness, although openly ridiculed by almost everyone you know, will actually help to create the types of energies that could bring someone new into your life.
There’s nothing wrong with being hopeful and this is certainly the right time to foster that energy and to try to parlay it into reality.
In order to maximize your exposure to the right types of people, you need to decide what you want in a partner.
If you’re looking for someone who paints their body orange and blue in preparation for a Broncos game, than a sports bar might be in order. If you’d rather meet someone who sits quietly, their eyes gently closed while listening to the lilting strains of a Beethoven symphony, well, forego the bar idea.

To use the vernacular, you might get lucky this week.
Although Cupid’s arrow may not pierce your or your soul-mate’s hearts this week, it’ll certainly prod your libido a bit.
(I hate the term, soul-mate, and think it responsible for many of the woes of modern romantic society, but in this case, I’ll use it.)
This could make you his amorous as you’ve been a long, long time and you’ll be hard-pressed to keep these energies under wraps.
The chances of meeting someone on a heartfelt basis are rather slim.
Quite simply put, I’m referring to the lustier side of love. This is all about the physical connection and the more honest you are with yourself about this fact, the better off you’ll be.
Don’t try to delude yourself into thinking that that person you meet at your local nightspot, the one with the polyester shirt open to his navel and Mr. T. look with gold chains around his neck, is someone that you want to spend much time with. In fact, his, or her, interest in you will be as single minded as yours in them.
If this isn’t the type of relationship that you seek, don’t begin.
Invariably you’ll find yourself drawn to this type of energy, especially as the week waxes on. (Or is that waxes off?)

There’s a good chance of meeting someone who could turn out to be a much bigger deal than you first expect them to be. This person may turn out to be a long-term relationship, or someone who can fill the void that may be in your heart.
Don’t be surprised if you meet this person in a relatively mundane atmosphere.
The key to their identity will be an immediate connection and the interesting conversation that ensues. If invited for a cup of coffee, be sure to say yes, even if it means canceling something else.
Of course, as usual, you need to be certain that you aren’t being played, so opt for somewhere public and safe.
You’ll find that this person has much to offer and is looking for someone to help fill what they need as well. You could be that person.
Of course, if you don’t think that they’re right for you, don’t push it.
The urge will be to become physical quickly so make your decision early on as to whether or not you’re going to go there, and then stick to that decision.

The harder you work at love the faster and farther away it will run.
If there’s to be any hope when it comes to romance this week, you’ll need to relax and let things come to you.
This may be as simple as not giving in to pressure, especially the pressure to date someone that you don’t really want to go out with, or as complex as going out on the town and sitting in the corner and waiting to see what happens.
No matter what tactic or strategy you take, the key is not to appear overanxious nor to try to hunt down your prey. Any appearance of desperation, anxiety, neediness, melodrama, insincerity, whimpering, whining energy or postnasal drip will result in your being seen as unattractive.
Confidence is the key, and being a Leo, you should be able to muster up a good energetic sense of personal regalness. If you aren’t being honored, don’t play.
The best place to find willing subjects will be a local watering hole or nightspot. Going with friends, as long as they can appear to be an adoring entourage, is advised.

Keep it light and unattached, or don’t do it at all.
The energies of the week are demanding that you remain as shallow as a saucer when it comes to relationships. Trying to appear magnanimous in romance and ready to sign on for a lifelong journey into matrimonial bliss will be disastrous.
I’m not advising that you treat people badly, lie to them, or in any way to delude yourself, or others, when it comes to what you really want. In fact, any attempt to pull the wool over someone’s eyes will result in one heck of a yarn being told later.
You may find it hard to believe, but sincerity is the key and the fact that you really don’t want more than a superficial relationship at the current time will be a strategy that’s hard to beat.
Be proactive when it comes to helping someone who needs what you can offer. This’ll be especially true if you’ve had your eye on them for quite some time. If the opportunity hasn’t arisen to ingratiate yourself with them, it should this week.
Yes, this might mean lifting a sofa or two, plunging a toilet or simply giving a smile where needed. Whatever the case, if the opportunity arises grab it.

Romance could be on your mind all week so don’t try to shut it out.
Be proactive when it comes to love. This means doing whatever it takes to try to promote yourself and to be seen as desirable and fun to be with.
Dressing for the part, considering both outer and undergarments, is advised. Although your underwear may not show, and then again it certainly may before the week is through, you’ll know that you’re prepared for anything.
(My brothers, novelty underwear should not be worn this week. For example, briefs with Pinocchio’s noseless face on the front are not an option. We think they’re a scream, but women generally find them horrifying and sophomoric.)
Sometimes the sexiest energy is in the mind. If you know you look good and feel-good, others will also make that association.
This would be the perfect time to socialize as much as you can. Except any invitation that comes your way, even if it seems to be a little bit out of your normal neighborhood. Who knows, you might just enjoy that tractor pull.
Your chances are good of meeting someone brand new Wednesday through the weekend. If you have the ability to do so, take them out for a wonderful meal. The rest of the evening will unfold exactly as you think it might.
The downtown area is your best bet for love and romance.

A shift from friendship to romance may be heading your way.
It’s possible that someone you’ve been involved with on a professional or friendly basis is beginning to want more from you. This could be good news, or bad news, depending on whether or not you’d like what they’d like to offer. Whatever the answer to that dilemma is, don’t delude yourself, or them.
It’s possible you’ve never thought of them in “that” way. Due to this new way of thought, they may suddenly appear to be highly attractive and stirrings could begin.
Don’t mistake pure physical energy for a more romantic sense of connection. If you do, trouble will follow.
On the other hand, if you’ve toyed with the idea, be willing to take a chance or two in order to see if there may be something worth pursuing.
This shift should be taken advantage of immediately before that person has a chance to come to their senses, er, I mean change their mind.
You should be as visible as you can be at this time. Not only current acquaintances will be interested.

You’ll have more than one chance, in your career, to influence someone in a romantic way.
You don’t have to pull out your book of love poetry in order to find the right things to say. Just let your heart do the talking, without allowing yourself to get drawn into some sort of harassment suit.
(By the way if you’re looking for a good book of poetry, stay away from works that have any limericks in them referring to a man from Nantucket.)

You might also consider this week’s energy to be somewhat of a seed sowing exercise. As you sow those seeds, you could find that in weeks, or months to come, those that you influenced will seek you out.
On a more serious side, this seed sowing energy could also lead to more serious complications and natural results of romantic connections. In other words, be aware and be safe.

The moment, and I mean the very instant, you begin to think there’s more to it than just fun and games, you’ll end up being drawn into a melodramatic nightmare that makes every soap opera on television seem like a fun and easy life.
If you do happen to meet someone who makes your pulse race, get their name, number, e-mail address or whatever you can, and hang onto it for a while.
You may find that upon reflection, they scare the living daylights out of you and you’ll wonder what you ever were thinking when you insisted on getting their vital statistics.
Whatever you do, don’t start giving your number out or you could find yourself needing to get a new number.
Keep it light, be careful and remember, love is sometimes a dish served ice cold. (I’m not really sure what that means in this case, since its usually associated with revenge, but it seemed appropriate.)

It’s possible that a blast from the past is headed your way.
Someone you played with a long time ago may be coming back to visit.
The advisability of returning to the scene of crime is up to you.
Unfortunately, I don’t see permanence in anything that comes from one of these relationships. This doesn’t mean it can’t be fun, but you should be advised that it’ll get complicated.
The most appealing aspects of these connections will be the physical ones. You’ll know each other, have fond memories of that sensual side, and that may be enough to draw you in.
Of course, if you decide to do this, leave a trail of breadcrumbs so you can find your way back home.
It’s also possible that it won’t be someone from your past, but rather someone who’s exactly like someone from your past. They won’t be wearing the same clothing, and may not seem to have any connection to what you’ve been through, but trust me, the similarities will be there nevertheless.
Don’t be afraid to play throughout the week but don’t commit to anything, or you might be committing to everything.
