Buena Vista put up seven offensive points late in the fourth quarter to complement its defense’s eight in a 15-14 win over Platte Canyon.
Faith Christian’s defense held Roaring Fork scoreless for the final three quarters to win 20-12.
Class 1A
Wes Terranova and Jake Becker combined to rush for five TDs to help Lyons advance in a 33-7 win over West Grand.
Akron’s defense shut out Del Norte in the second half of a 43-20 win while the offense rushed for six TDs.
Class A 8-man
Cameron Ham paved the way to a spot in the championship game for Haxtun with 234 yards on 17 carries and five rushing TDs in a 48-0 win over Stratton.
Merino’s defense held after giving up an early field goal to set up a rematch of last year’s championship in a 16-3 win over Granada.
Class A 6-man
Steve White of Pawnee caught a 13 yard TD pass from his brother, Bo White, to seal a 53-48 win over Woodlin.
Pawnee will face Idalia in Saturday’s championship game.
