Holiday parade

Enjoy an Idaho Springs Olde Fashioned Holiday Parade at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The holidays march into town with Santa and his reindeer. A Christmas tree lighting with carolers will immediately follow the parade, and Santa will meet and greet children at Citizens Park, 16th and Miner streets. Information: 303-567-4660.

Fort Collins craft fair

Crafters from all over northern Colorado will set out their wares at the Fort Collins Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive. One-of-a-kind items and homemade arts and crafts will be showcased 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. This craft fair is a juried show. Admission is $2. Catch Estes Park’s Glow

Combine a mountain village with holiday spirit, Santa Claus, Dickens carolers, hayrides and a lighted parade, and you’ll find the Catch the Glow celebration in Estes Park. Activities on Friday begin at noon with holiday music broadcast outdoors throughout the town, visitors interacting with strolling animal characters, free visits with Santa, and free pony and hay rides. The hour-long parade of lighted floats begins at 5:30 p.m. At 9 a.m. Saturday, doors open to the annual Holiday House Christmas Bazaar at the Estes Park Conference Center, 101 S. St. Vrain Ave. Handcrafted holiday items, a raffle, recycled treasures, holiday treats, music and more are available for a $1 donation at the door. The event benefits the Estes Park Medical Center. Copper Thanksgiving

Venture to Copper Mountain for Thanksgiving. The Leftover Yam and Jive Turkey Rail Jam will be on Friday. Win cash and prizes at this fourth annual rail jam in the Eagle Jib Park at the top of the American Eagle lift. The event is free and open to the public. Saturday at noon is the Gobbler Chase Snowshoe for Charity to benefit Advocates for Victims of Assault. Goodies in Glenwood

The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts, 601 E. Sixth St., will host the Goodies Holiday Arts and Crafts Exhibit through Dec. 20. There will be jewelry, cards, fine art, sculpture, pottery, clothing, one-of-a-kind quilts, food and more for purchase.
