My roommates are giving me a hard time because I suggested that a lot of NFL coaches consider the red zone to start at the 25-yard line as opposed to the 20-yard line. Have you ever heard of this, or am I making stuff up?
— Andrew Sterling, Boulder
You should probably move.
What is the contract status of the four former Browns who became Broncos mainstays? Will the Broncos be able to keep all of them next season?
— Michael McElroy, New York
Of this bunch, only defensive tackle Gerard Warren is set to become a free agent. At this point, I’d say he’ll be back. But the team will have to pay him a decent salary. There will be interest elsewhere, but it just seems like this is a good fit for both sides. Warren seems refreshed and appears to be loving every minute of his Broncos experience.
Do you think running back Ron Dayne will be a Bronco next year?
— Dan Szot, Randolph, N.J.
It all depends on what the team does in the offseason. It seems the Broncos draft a running back every year. But if Dayne wants to compete for a backup job again, he could be back.
