Derek Tolan of South Suburban Family Sports Center was named the Colorado Golf Association Les Fowler player of the year. Tolan, the CGA top points winner, won the CGA Two-Man Team Championship with partner Michael Baird, was a finalist in the State Match Play Championship and finished third overall at the Denver Open.
Kelly Schaub, the top points earner for the CWGA, was named CWGA player of the year. Schaub won the Mashie and Brassie Championships with different partners.
