Boulder – Jasmina Ilic scored 24 points and Jackie McFarland hit 21 as Colorado beat Utah State 73-56 in the consolation game of the Coors Classic on Saturday at the Coors Events Conference Center.
Lauren Lubin recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds in her first collegiate start for the Buffaloes (2-2).
Colorado jumped out early, going on an 18-4 run to begin the game. Ilic, who was just 4-of-26 from the field the previous two games, scored seven points over that stretch and hit four of her first eight shots. She also hit on four 3-point shots.
