The guests – including a chihuahua in a silver ski parka – were dressed for snowy weather, but the fashions making their way around the U-shaped runway were as breezy as a summer day at the recent Max fashion show at the 1770 Sherman Street Event Complex.
The annual benefit show attracted 750 people to see selections from such spring designer collections as Missoni, Diane von Furstenberg, Narciso Rodriguez and Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B. worn by 15 female models, as well as a trio of male models dressed by Sunneshine.
Ticket sales and auction proceeds raised an estimated $90,000 for the Volunteers of America’s Brandon Center, said spokesman Jim White.
