About 4:45 p.m. December 2, a helicopter airlift took place apparently for someone injured in Bear Creek Canyon along State Highway 74 . Traffic was stopped in both directions as the helicopter landed in the middle of the highway. An ambulance arrived shortly thereafter from the east.
