Put on a show, complete with leotards, top hat, tap shoes, laser show and freakishly white teeth glistening in the glare of 50,000 watts of pure charisma. This is no mediocre splash of energy coming your way. This is a dog and pony show to put all others to shame.
How to best utilize this energy, you may ask?
Act the part of the lead in your own romantic comedy. (No tragedies, please.) Whether or not you happen to be a fan of the proverbial “Chick Flick,” or not, think this genre when it comes to your social life.
Such Hollywood fairy tales rarely start out easily but always end up on an upbeat sort of note. Here’s your formula for the week.
First, get out into the public and be alert for chance meetings with dashing, or dashed, potential happily ever after life-mates. Second, bump into them with a (choose one): scalding cup of coffee, soup, vinegar, snow, peat moss, liverwurst, lubricant or ferret.
This’ll lead to consternation and chaotic embarrassment which will, in turn, lead to a longing stare and sudden turning away. You’ll then run into each other again and find out that you should hate each other but really do love each other and end up gliding into the sunset on an amphibious hovercraft.
If this all seems too contrived, get out into the public and meet people. Be open and willing to have some fun. Don’t be too quick to categorize anyone you meet and you may just find some fun. This week, design your own fairytale and make it happen.
The entire week is fit to roll, cut and print a new love life.
Taurus
April 20 to May 20
Most of what you’ll receive in the way of romantic energies could border on the indecent side.
This isn’t your fault. The timing is right for you to be viewed as a sexy, desirable and easy target for fun and games.
Obviously, this can be a good thing or a bane, depending on your particular mood, ethical stance on such things and relationship status.
Yes, there’s a chance you’ll be tempted to color outside the lines when it comes to love. This may mean engaging in a rousing round of sweaty golf with someone new, or it could be bring a new dynamic to a current lover. A trip to your local bookstore to investigate that little section tucked next to the psychology and self-improvement sections that deals with “technique,” could be fun and productive.
Who knows, you might meet a fellow traveler on this road away from the mundane. This isn’t the week to count anything out, unless you really want to be left alone.
If you aren’t the type to explore the outer frontiers of the norm, use this energy to enthuse you to meet new prospects and to allow them to get a feel for your personality. This is a great time to do so because you’ll be perceived in such a favorable light.

Take it easy when it comes to love.
This isn’t the best week to forge into the great frontier of romantic uncertainty, at least not without some backup.
You’ll find that you’re vulnerable to the advances of others and could be victimized if you don’t stay in touch with reality. This touchstone of commonsense can be a friend, an entourage or a crowd of relative strangers. The key is to pay attention to fact that your feelings may lead you astray.
Wipe that frown off your face. You don’t have to shun the world of romance, just use your head and don’t fall for the oldest lines in the book.
What lines? For example: I need help with my zipper, it seems to be stuck would you mind? How about this old goody: I’ve never been with a (insert your gender, ethnicity, height, name, shoe size, profession, blood type, rank, or whatever here) before. I’m sure you get the point.
Being played for a sap is never fun, especially when it comes to affairs of the heart. Once again, taking it easy is the key to having a tame but safe week in romance.
I’d suggest more conservative parts of town for play. Perhaps the suburbs of the Denver Metro Area are best for this week’s activities.
The weekend is the best time to play, but Wednesday holds promise as well.

This could be the week that a work related romance becomes possible, probable and even unavoidable.
All the signs point to connecting with someone related to you in your professional life. This could be someone you meet outside of work, through the work process or it may be someone in your office. The energies are such that this relationship could turn into something hot and heavy before you even know the stove’s been ignited.
Your best bet, should this energy arise, is to keep things quiet, at least for now.
The energies are pointing in the direction of trouble coming from this relationship. Minimizing this risk is as simple as keeping your new found fun to yourself.
It’s also possible that you’ll meet someone in the everyday world who could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. They won’t be wearing a disguise, they’ll look the way you think they should and could sweep you quickly off of your feet. As long as they help you up, there should be no problem.
Yes, the chances are many to meet someone who could be just right for love, fun and games. Even if you don’t meet this person in the workplace, you may meet them in some public venue. In order for this to occur, of course, you’ll need to be in the public somehow.
Go ahead, go to that office Christmas party. Just make sure that if you do visit the copy room to reproduce a part of your anatomy, it isn’t a part that’s tattooed with something linking you to it.

The only thing standing between you and a possible new romance is, well… you.
Ask yourself how you’ve been standing in the way of your own romantic happiness. Yes, I know this seems like psychobabble, and perhaps it is, but you need to face it anyway. The possibility is strong that you’ve been sabotaging your ability to meet anyone in a good and connected relationship.
To counter this energy, find a way to go out and meet new people. This advice is especially important if you’ve found yourself in a rut, groove, pit or abyss of doing the same things over and over again.
This not only bores you, but also makes you appear boring.
We both know that there’s nothing boring about you! However, when you get into a place of ennui, you roll your eyes, sigh deeply and act as if the world is simply too banal to tolerate. Throw off that cape of tedium and you’ll find things going better.
Perhaps a new wardrobe or accessory is in order. I’d suggest something red or green trimmed with fluffy, white, faux fur in order to give that festive, Elvish look. (I suppose if you sport a pompadour too, it might be an Elvis Elvish look)
Party hearty and enjoy yourself. The season’s right for love.

This seemingly decadent advice comes to you with the compliments of a little energy that seeks to promote less structure and more fun in your life.
Of course, I’m not advocating mindless, unsafe play but the time has come to frolic a bit.
This concept of frolicking is highly personal and means different things to different people. Use your best judgment.
Attempting to make a heartfelt connection with someone probably won’t work out. It’s possible you’ve had your eye on someone recently and you’ve been thinking that this would be a good time to begin to spin that web of happy ever after.
Wrong.
Contrary to the usual advice, this might be a good time to get to know them on a more shallow level and attempt to deepen the relationship as time goes on. If this simply isn’t your style, put off all romantic connections until later.
There’s good news for those of you in committed relationships. This week could bring back much of the passion that has become as withered as one of those creepy, old Apple Head dolls that still haunt folk art shops.

You’ve heard of friends and lovers. This week they could become one in the same.
Be extra cautious when dealing with friends as there could be a temptation to cross the boundary between hanging out together and hanging out together. (Think about it.)
Although this might not be a problem, it could also turn into a relatively sticky situation before it ends. This will be especially true if you happen to be dealing with a work-related friendship that has been leaning toward quick visits to the supply closet.
The advisability of this activity is completely up to you, although from where I sit, and I am sitting at the current time, it would be best to wait awhile before proceeding.
An easier way for this to manifest would be to meet someone who could be a friend, but to start out more with the flirtatious energy and let things evolve without having to have that sticky sense of awkwardness that comes with changing the definitions of who we are. (If that makes sense to you, then bully for you.)
If you do indulge with someone you work with, or a close friend, expect the tensions to be there but they also should ease as long as both of you are able to let expectations go.
This is a week for light playing and keeping thoughts of responsible, long-term relationships to a minimum.

This may be a wonderful new relationship or it could simply be a passing fancy. Obviously, it depends upon what you’d like to do with this.
Pay attention to the way someone treats you. They’re probably giving off not only pheromones, but also signals that they’d like to do more with you than give you your change back.
Obviously, you need to be attracted to someone before you allow them into your world, but be aware that making judgments based on what someone does for a living won’t cut it, at least not this week.
The person involved may be well worthwhile and could be trying to make a connection with you and has possibly been trying for quite some time. Don’t act so surprised, you know how cute you are and how desirable you can be.
All you have to do is be aware and enjoy the flattery.
This same energy could bring unexpected, but fun results when it comes to socializing. This would be a great time to go out and play with friends in exciting atmospheres.
The southwest side of town seems to be well worth visiting.
