Two more Colorado schoolboy football players have vowed to hit the Division I-A trail out of the state.

Mark Mueller of Overland and Greg Banks of Montbello gave oral commitments late last week.

Mueller, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound running back and strong safety for the Trailblazers, pledged to Stanford. The Cardinal recruited him to play wide receiver.

“He attended their camp and they liked him a lot,” Overland coach Tony Manfredi said.

Banks, a 6-5, 260-pound defensive end, announced he would sign in February with Michigan. He also considered California and Okla- homa.

Banks’ teammate, R.J. Sanders, a multipurpose- skill player, announced he will attend Colorado State.
