Casper – Hanna Zavecz scored 17 points, Jodi Bolerjack added 14 and all 11 Cowgirls who played scored as Wyoming improved to 7-1 with a 75-39 victory over Chadron State in the Wyoming Shootout at the Casper Events Center.
The Cowgirls raced to a 36-13 halftime lead in dropping the Eagles to 1-9. Wyoming forced 25 turnovers and turned them into 39 points.
Bec Kyba was the lone Eagle in double figures with 10 points.
Regis 65, N.M. Highlands 37
Regis jumped to a 50-15 halftime lead before blowing out New Mexico Highlands at Regis Fieldhouse.
Regis improved to 8-2 and stayed undefeated in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at 3-0. Highlands dropped to 3-4 and 1-2 in the RMAC.
Diana Lopez, of Ranum High School in Westminster, led all scorers with 15 points. Her twin sister, Denise, hit 12 for the Raiders, with Lindsay Viall adding 13 and Breanne Burley 11. Angel Sparks led Highlands with 13 points.
Metro State 72, Colo.-Colo. Springs 61
Metro State held off a Colorado-Colorado Springs second- half rally for an 11-point victory at Auraria Events Center.
Paige Powers scored a team-high 18 to lead the Road- runners (7-2, 4-0 RMAC). Megan Valenzuela added 15 and Rianna Harris 11.
Jennie Sauter hit a game-high 21 to lead the Mountain Lions (2-6, 1-3 RMAC).
Colorado Mines 63, Adams State 41
Golden – Ashley Gronewaller scored a game-high 23 points to lead Colorado Mines over Adams State at Volk Gym.
The Orediggers moved to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the RMAC. Adams State dropped to 1-9, 0-4. Iva Tomova added 12 for Mines, which extended a five-point halftime lead into a 22-point victory. Isil Ozkan paced the Grizzlies with 13.
Nebraska-Kearney 67, Western State 51
Kearney, Neb. – Four players scored in double figures for Nebraska-Kearney (5-4, 2-1 RMAC), led by Melissa Hinkley’s 12 points and seven rebounds, and Kalee Modlin’s 10 points and nine rebounds as the Lopers downed Western State (3-6, 1-2 RMAC) at Health and Sports Center. The Mountaineers’ Audra Lawson led all scorers with 16 points. Kearney dominated the boards with a 47-31 rebound advantage. Jonni Mildenberger, of Sterling High School, added 10 for the Lopers.
Fort Lewis 78, Colorado Christian 43
Lakewood – Amie Moulton led four Fort Lewis players who scored 10 or more points and the Skyhawks beat Colorado Christian. Fort Lewis (3-7, 2-2 RMAC) was led by Moulton’s 20 points, while Lauren Redfern of Basalt High School added 11. Kelly Goodman of Durango High and Jamie Pratt scored 10 for the Skyhawks. The Eagles dropped to 2-9 and 1-3 in the RMAC.
