Royal Gold Inc. announced Thursday it has closed an agreement with Kennecott Minerals Co. to acquire two royalties for $25 million. The royalties consist of a 3 percent net smelter return royalty on the Robinson mine in eastern Nevada and a sliding-scale royalty on the Mulatos mine in Sonora, Mexico.
