7 p.m. “Dancing with the Stars”

The new season kicks off with such celebrities as Tatum O’Neal, Jerry Rice, Giselle Fernandez and George Hamilton taking to the dance floor. The word is if Rice doesn’t master the two-step, they’re going to trade him to “The Surreal Life” for Todd Bridges and a has-been to be named later. ABC

7:30 “Four Kings”

Four guys share an apartment in New York City, learning about the rigors of adult life, the complicated rituals of dating and how to cope if Joey or Kramer aren’t living across the hall. NBC

7 p.m. “$100,000 Chicken Challenge”

Professional chefs bring out all their culinary tricks, drawing on years of experience and stretching all their creative flair and yet, it still “tastes like chicken.” Food Network

8 p.m. “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”

This week’s victim had a disease which caused excessive hair growth, making him look like a werewolf. Investigators first had to determine if he was murdered or if the flea collar was just too tight. CBS

11 p.m. “Richard Pryor: I’m Not Dead Yet”
