Pregame ritual: I’ve worn the same two pairs of shorts every game; I listen to some music and try to remind myself of why I’m out there and how much I love it.
Time management tip: Everybody says the same thing but it’s true – try to get it done as early as possible and not wait until the last minute.
Planned career: Undecided, signed to play basketball at Gonzaga

What I like most about high school sports: The relationships I have with friends and teammates, and the coaching. All of them are great.
What I like least about high school sports: The seasons are short.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
