Heath Ledger has blasted two Utah theaters for refusing to show “Brokeback Mountain.”
“Personally, I don’t think the movie is (controversial), but I think maybe the Mormons in Utah do,” Ledger is quoted in the Melbourne Herald Sun. “I think it’s hilarious and very immature of a society.”
The critically acclaimed film stars Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal as cowboys who share a long affair in Wyoming.
Michael Eisner has gone from one Mickey Mouse job to another.
The former chief executive of the Walt Disney Company will host an hourlong primetime talk show on CNBC cable network called “Conversations With Michael Eisner,” according to several reports. A date for the first show has not been announced. The inspiration for the show came when CNBC President Mark Hoffman saw Eisner guest host on “The Charlie Rose Show” in October on PBS.

Star magazine reported the rapper and “American Idol” winner had a cozy dinner at Julia’s in Seattle recently. A spy told Star, “Fantasia seemed enraptured by Kanye. She had her hand on his thigh the entire time and he kept touching her too.”
The historic Olympia, Wash., home Courtney Love bought in 1997 received no bids at a foreclosure auction last weekend, according to The Associated Press. A Los Angeles mortgage company will take possession of the home. Love reportedly failed to pay more than $386,000 in debt on the property. Kim Cobain, sister of Love’s deceased husband Kurt Cobain, was living in the house before the foreclosure.
Speaking of homes, the value of Britney Spears’ New York apartment plummeted by more than $1 million in just three months, according to New York magazine. Spears’ penthouse was initially on the market for $6 million, but now bargain hunters can get the three-bedroom Manhattan apartment for $4.95 million, her new broker said.

Elizabeth Hurley may have started a catfight royale.
The actress-model told Grazia magazine she does not think former longtime boyfriend Hugh Grant will marry Jemima Khan, his girlfriend of 18 months.
“I don’t see him as much these days, but I do know he’s not getting married either, even though that has been written about in the newspapers,” said Hurley, who dated Grant for 13 years, and lives just a few blocks away from the actor.
