A public meeting has been scheduled Thursday to allow public input into a suggested change in the way the Colorado duck season will be conducted next fall.
The proposal, which requires approval of the Colorado Wildlife Commission and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, involves splitting the hunt into smaller zones with the intent to maximize opportunity as it relates to time of year and migration patterns.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Division of Wildlife Education Building, 6060 Broadway. Comment also may be submitted to wildlifecomm@state.co.us or Duck Comments, 6060 Broadway, Denver 80621.
