Colorado State’s football program received an oral commitment from running back John Mosure of Columbus High School in Miami. Columbus coach Chris Merritt said Mosure “took Dade County by surprise” after transferring in this season and rushing for 1,534 yards on 240 carries. He scored 22 touchdowns. Merritt said Mosure is 5-feet-10 and 200 pounds. Merritt said Rutgers offered a scholarship and Mosure canceled a trip to Michigan State after committing to the Rams. CSU is close to filling its 22-man class for national signing day Wednesday.
