After standing vacant for 10 years, Denver’s first high-rise office building reopens Tuesday as luxury apartments.

In the heart of downtown at the 16th Street Mall and Glenarm Place, 1600 Glenarm Place will offer residents in its 333 units a gourmet market, valet parking and a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week concierge and doorkeeper.

In addition, Canada-based Earl’s Restaurants has signed a lease on 13,000 square feet for its second Front Range location (the other is at Park Meadows mall). Earl’s will provide dining and room service to residents of the 31-story building.

Apartments in the $79 million project, developed by Denver-based Red Peak Properties, are condo-grade with high-end finishes such as granite counters, maple cabinets, hardwood floors and gas fireplaces. Rent ranges from $930 a month for a studio to $5,500 a month for a penthouse.
