Opera series highlights “The Ballad of Baby Doe”
7 P.M. | Duane Smith, author and professor of history at Fort Lewis College, presents the first lecture in the Central City Opera’s “2006 Opera 101 Series” at the Denver Central Library, 100 W. 14th Avenue Parkway. Smith will be joined by John Moriarty, Central City Opera’s artistic director emeritus and the conductor of this year’s production of “The Ballad of Baby Doe,” scheduled for the stage this summer.
