Nearly 1,000 women have donned pink boas and snowboarded or skied down Keystone Resort’s slopes to improve their skills and laugh together since Betty Fest – which promotes women together on the slopes – started eight seasons ago.

The program will continue every Tuesday and Thursday

through March 9 to offer girls who want to have fun and move up

a level on the board or skis the opportunity to get more comfortable with tougher terrain. Included in the $85 fee (lift ticket is extra)

are extensive on-the-hill training, video analysis of skills, yoga

instruction and discussions about women’s needs regarding nutrition and gear. And everyone who participates gets a fluffy pink boa.
