Tom’s mission: Hire Kanye
Kanye West will reinterpret the classic “Mission: Impossible” theme song for the third installment of the film series, after much cajoling by the movie’s star, Tom Cruise.
Cruise told MTV News he was adamant about West’s involvement. “When you see an artist that you just respect and he’s so talented. I was like, ‘Man, I’d love to see what he’s gonna do with this,”‘ Cruise said. “You’ve got to hear what he did with it. I looked at him and said, ‘Man, you killed it.”‘
The film will be released nationwide on May 5.
