Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Denver had no answer for Chrissy Givens, who made 4-of-5 3-pointers and had 30 points and 11 rebounds as Middle Tennessee routed the Pioneers 77-56 on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders (15-8, 8-2 Sun Belt) took a 46-26 halftime lead. Brooke Meyer led DU (11-12, 5-7) with 16 points.

COLO.-COLO. SPRINGS 74, CSU-PUEBLO 64 at Colorado Springs – CSU-Pueblo whittled a 14-point deficit to 62-60 with about four minutes remaining, reserve center Caroline Ottino made a short jumper and Maribeth Martinez followed with a 3-pointer to give the Mountain Lions (11-12, 8-7 RMAC) the lead for good. Lauren Westerman led the Thunderwolves (13-10, 8-7) with 17 points. The teams are now tied for second place in the RMAC West Division.

MESA STATE 82, ADAMS STATE 78 at Alamosa – Cassie Hutto connected on a jumper and one of two free throws in the waning moments, allowing the Mavericks (8-15, 6-9 RMAC) to seal the road win. Rebekah Calvert led Mesa with 21 points. Isil Ozkan had 23 for the Grizzlies (3-20, 2-13).

FORT LEWIS 74, WESTERN STATE 37 at Durango – Fort Lewis jumped to a 34-21 halftime lead and cruised past Western State behind 19 points apiece from Stephanie Kosters and Amie Moulton. Kelly Goodman added 14 for the Skyhawks (13-10, 10-5 RMAC). Meghan McKinney paced Western State (7-15, 5-10) with 11 points.

FORT HAYS STATE 66, COLORADO MINES 57 at Hays, Kan. – Mines pulled to within 49-47 with about five minutes left, but the Tigers (19-4, 13-2 RMAC) steadily pulled away down the stretch. Crystal Harden topped Hays with 19 points. Iva Tomova led the Orediggers (13-10, 7-8) with 17 points.

CHADRON STATE 67, COLORADO CHRISTIAN 47 at Chadron, Neb. – Bec Kyba had 24 points to lead Chadron (4-19, 3-12 RMAC) to an easy home win. The Eagles held the Cougars (4-21, 1-14) to fewer than 30 percent shooting while building a 36-22 halftime lead. Ann Habicht had 17 points for the Cougars.

UTAH VALLEY STATE 75, NORTHERN COLORADO 73 at Eaton – Jabrenta Hubbard’s career-high 34 points was not enough to overtake Utah Valley State, as the Bears (12-10) fell in a close battle.

The Bears had a 16-6 run that put them up 64-63 with about two minutes left, but three baskets from UVSC’s Robyn Fairbanks put the game away.
