2 antioxidant-rich juices in Naked fold
Just in time for Heart Health Month, Naked Juice is marketing two new açai juices in addition to its relatively new pomegranate and pomegranate-blueberry flavors. So for those of you seriously into antioxidant-packed juices, latch on to Pomegranate Açai (pronounced ah-sigh-EE) and Rainforest Açai. The açai berry, a 2006 “power” fruit, hails from Brazil and is packed with amino acids and essential omegas. It also contains high levels of flavonoids and polyphenols, potent antioxidants offering free-radical zapping power. In addition, açai berries contain 10-30 times the anthocyanins (purple-colored antioxidants) of red wine. And they taste good too.
