Dew Action Sports Tour returns to Denver
The Dew Action Sports Tour, a professional, multisport season tour for action sports, announced Denver will be a host city on its schedule for the 2006 season. The tour will return to Denver for the Right Guard Open from July 13-16 and includes skateboarding (park and vert), BMX (park, vert and dirt) and freestyle motocross.
AFA’s Buck picks up MWC honor
Air Force’s Shannon Buck was named the Mountain West Conference men’s tennis player of the week. Buck, a senior, won all six of his matches last week and finished 3-0 at No. 1 singles, including a straight-set victory over Idaho State’s Marc Pijoan, 7-5, 6-2.
