Waco, Texas – Sophia Young had 20 points and grabbed two rebounds to become the Big 12’s career rebounding leader in No. 10 Baylor’s 86-40 victory over Colorado on Wednesday night.

Tricia Abbott scored 12 points, and Chameka Scott and Jordan Davis added 11 apiece for the Lady Bears (20-5, 10-4). Young moved one ahead of the previous mark of 1,223 career rebounds set by Texas’ Stacy Stephens.

Jackie McFarland and Caley Dow had 12 points each to lead Colorado (8-19, 2-12).

Baylor took a 33-8 lead with just over five minutes remaining in the first half. The attendance of 8,111 pushed Baylor’s total home season attendance to 100,316 – the first time in history the school broke the 100,000 mark.

NO. 23 N. MEXICO 79, AIR FORCE 53

Albuquerque – New Mexico’s Abbie Letz scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the 23rd-ranked Lobos routed Air Force.

It was the Lobos’ 34th straight Mountain West Conference victory at home.

New Mexico (19-7, 9-4) has not lost at home since Jan. 6, 2002. Air Force (12-13, 3-12) has lost 10 of its last 12 games and was led by Letricia Castillo’s 15 points.

TCU 83, COLORADO STATE 57

Fort Worth, Texas – CSU controlled the first eight minutes, but TCU (15-9, 9-4) owned the next 32 minutes to rout the Rams (8-16, 2-11).

After CSU took a 17-15 lead with midway through the first half, TCU went on a 31-5 run. Melissa Dennett led the Rams with 17 points and seven rebounds.
