One week to go.
Heading into the final rounds of the 2005-06 basketball tournament, the Colorado High School Activities Association today will set times for the remaining rounds that will set up two finales Friday and eight for Championship Saturday.
Class 5A and 4A girls will play the final two rounds at the University of Colorado’s Coors Events Center. On Wednesday, girls will compete in their Final Fours, then winners will meet in title games Friday. The boys will follow the same format Thursday and Saturday.
The 3A boys and girls will have runs through quarterfinals, semifinals and championships Thursday through Saturday at Colorado State in Fort Collins.
In 2A and 1A, this weekend’s regional winners will be seeded today by the CHSAA, then have their three-day run, including consolations, in Pueblo.
Tickets will be available at all sites. Championship Saturday will complete the second of three sports seasons in the school year. Spring sports begin Thursday.
