Photos and history of early years at Mesa Verde

10 A.M.-8 P.M. | The Colorado Historical Society and the Denver Public Library present a new exhibit, “From Nordenskiold to Nusbaum: Photography, Archaeology and Tourism in the Early Years of Mesa Verde National Park,” on display on Level 5 of the Western History/Genealogy Department at the library, 10 W. 14th Ave. Parkway. The exhibition, continuing through May 31, features documents, photographs and more of the park between 1874 and 1941. The library is open daily. Call 720-865-1111.

Week of events tied to “La Fiesta de La Curandera” opera

7 P.M. | Opera Colorado is offering a week-long schedule of events, “La Fiesta de La Curandera,” in connection to the opera “La Curandera” to be presented in the Eugenia Rawls Courtyard Theatre in May. A free program about the opera is offered tonight at the Denver Public Library, 10 W. 14th Ave. Parkway. Visit operacolorado.org.
