You can get a double dose of this new Julia Louis-Dreyfus comedy as she tries again to break the “Seinfeld” jinx. Louis-Dreyfus plays Christine, a divorced mother who’s happy, at least until she discovers her ex-husband has a young girlfriend also named Christine.

The country version of “American Idol” is back for a fourth season. And every season, it seems, there’s a new set of hosts. This year Wynonna Judd and “hick-hop” artist Cowboy Troy head the proceedings, after which the winner gets a Nashville recording contract.

In lieu of continued reruns of “Lost,” give this comedy a whirl. Bret Harrison plays a young airline executive juggling his first grown- up job and his three roommates, who are still in their adolescent phase.

Fans of the CBS soap operas may not be happy, but college basketball fans are ecstatic. Tuesday’s “play-in” game actually started the action, but the real field of 64 begins playing today. If you’re not a hoops fan, try “American Inventor,” the new ABC reality series at 7 p.m. on KMGH-Channel 7.
