The Broncos are expected to visit with Jets defensive end John Abraham in the next week.

Abraham, the Jets’ franchise player, will, in all likelihood, be traded because of a contract dispute.

The Broncos are expected to be one of the few teams interested in the pass-rushing defensive end.
Seattle, Oakland, Washington and Atlanta also have expressed interest.

It will likely take a first-round draft pick to obtain Abraham.

The Broncos have two first-round picks, Nos. 22 and 29.

Denver had just 28 sacks last season and a pass-rushing defensive end is one of its top needs.
