My favorite team: North Carolina men’s basketball.

What I listen to: R&B.

The best thing on my training table: Lots of pasta.

Pregame ritual: I just go play.

Time management tip: I get home, relax, then I get homework done and get to bed. I don’t watch any television.

Planned career: Considering dentistry or business, signed to play basketball at Colorado State, will play after two-year Mormon mission.

My family: Parents Kirk and Stephanie; sisters Meagan, Mindy and Celine; brother Hunter.

I would love to visit: Cameron Indoor Stadium when (Duke) plays North Carolina in men’s basketball.

What I like most about high school sports: The fans and the rivalries.

What I like least about high school sports: Our seasons are shorter than every other state’s; there’s so many restrictions. I’d like to play in more out-of-state tournaments.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
