Colorado Springs – Brett Sterling’s 30th goal of the season kept alive Colorado College’s playoff run, securing the Tigers’ 3-2 victory Saturday night over St. Cloud State in Game 2 of the WCHA best-of-three series.

Trailing 2-0 early in the second period, the Tigers tied the game with goals 44 seconds apart, including Sterling’s first goal of the night at the 15:51 mark. Sterling scored again late in the third period to get the CC win.

The teams meet again today at 7 p.m. to see who advances to the WCHA Final Five, which starts Thursday in Minneapolis.
